The hand of this fabric is truly beautiful. It moves nicely. It has a slight shine to it that makes it look more sophisticated. The color is not bright white, it is more ivory, which, as a fair-complected person, I prefer. ( if anyone remembers "color palette seasons", I'm a spring and need warmer tones. Winters look best in bright white.) I thought I'd give you an idea of fit. I'm 5'7", 125 lbs with a 34C bust. The armhole to bust area was a little loose with fabric bunching up and hanging- will need it taken in about an inch at the side seams under the armhole then taper back out to the side and waist, which fits perfectly. I also prefer dress length just under my knee caps and this is longer than that. So I will have it shortened as well. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
