These boots are a work of art. My sister put them on the mantle to display them and said they were too beautiful to wear.Comfort. They are comfortable for 10 hours of office wear. I would not wear them for excessive walking.Fit. L’Artiste usually fits true to form. I have a extra room so I can wear a middle weight sock, not a trouser weight sock. If you are not planning on wearing socks, you might go down a 1/2 size. These boots are not the skin tight style. They are woven cloth in the calf and lose - even the part that is leather. The leather is tighter, but still lose. That might bother some.Look. The boots goes with anything. Leggings, jeans, dressy clothes, skirts, dresses. The picture is spot on accurate.Compliments. I am getting compliments from those folks who are not fashion minded.This company has a beautiful product. However, they don't offer half sizes. I have to purchase the half size larger so my feet don't hurt from being squeezed into too small. Then I have to feel like my feet are slipping around front to rear as I walk.They are so gorgeous. A bit roomier in the toe than my usual 8.5 boots but not to the point if making it an issue..the colors are amazing and like all Artiste shoes they are mega comfortable..I also like the laces in the front as I have quite large calves so I was able to loosen them easily..and know that when I lose weight again they will be able to be adjusted back..I wish I could afford more pairs!!These boots fit great and I get compliments whenever I wear them. They also have enough room so that I can tuck in my pants in ip them up overJust a hair to big, but really liked these boots! The upper fit is great! All in all they are awesome!These are very classy, and I received tons of compliments. The comfort level from 1-5 is a 4. Wish they were a bit more cushioned on the inside, but these are a keeper (I'll just find something cushion-y to stick in the boot!) lol.Love these boots. The size is off by a half size however.These boots are a show stopper! They are fantastic. I have received so many compliments with only wearing them out two times so far from both women and men They are comfortable and well made. You really feel like you are wearing art.
